Company History
Carl Lindfors began selling insurance out of his home in rural Hill River Township, just north of Fosston, MN back in 1937. A strong work ethic while holding onto small town values, his business was nurtured by his wife Charlotte who took over the business in 1956, and was later joined by their son Vern in 1963. Various opportunities to acquire agencies, steady sales growth, and quality service provided with honesty and integrity has allowed the business to continue to grow from its three family member beginnings to three locations in Polk and Clearwater counties. In 2002, the Lindfors Insurance Agency became a 'Trusted Choice Agency' and is proud to be held accountable to the designation.
